Southam Patios

We sort outdoor spaces that aren’t working

Cracked flags. Sunken slabs. A garden that’s just mud and regret. We’ve seen it all across CV47 and the surrounding area, and fixing it is exactly what we do.

  • New patio installations, porcelain and natural stone
  • Indian sandstone and limestone paving
  • Garden paths and paved areas
  • New walling and timber fencing
  • Turfed lawns and artificial grass fitting

Porcelain versus natural sandstone

Two completely different animals. Porcelain is a manufactured tile, dense and near-impervious, so it barely absorbs water and stays cleaner over time. Sandstone is quarried natural stone, warmer underfoot and better looking straight away, but it does want sealing and a bit more care with jointing if you want it to last. And the base system matters just as much as the surface, which is why we use permeable jointing compound and resin-bound edging details where the drainage situation calls for it. One isn’t better than the other. It just depends on your garden, your budget, and how much upkeep you’re realistically going to do.

Local work, done properly

We’ve laid patios on the new-build plots out at Houlton, on older properties with tricky levels, and on tight urban rear gardens where access is a pain. But the standard doesn’t change. Every job gets a proper sub-base, the right falls for drainage, and materials that are actually suited to the site. It’s not complicated, but you’d be surprised how many gardens we visit where that basic groundwork was skipped.
