Stow on the Wold Patios

Stow on the Wold Patios

Stow on the Wold is where we’re based, and most of our work stays close to home. We know these gardens, the ground conditions, the clay-heavy soil that catches people out if they skip proper sub-base preparation.

Good drainage starts before a single slab goes down.

We work across porcelain, Indian sandstone, and limestone, sourcing materials through Talasey Group, who supply across Warwickshire and the wider Cotswolds area. Mitre cut external corner detailing is something we do as standard on porcelain jobs, and it makes a real difference to how the finished edge looks.

  • Porcelain tiled patio installations
  • Indian sandstone and limestone paving
  • Concrete flagstone laying
  • Garden paths and patio areas
  • New walling and timber fencing
  • Artificial grass and turfed lawns

New fencing and walling too, if you need the full garden sorted in one go.

Do I need planning permission or building regulations approval?

Most patio installations don’t need planning permission. If your patio is at ground level and uses permeable materials, or the run-off drains to a lawn or border, you’re generally fine without permission. However, if you’re covering more than five square metres with an impermeable surface, you may need to think about drainage compliance. We can talk you through it before any work starts. Building regulations don’t usually apply to a standard patio, so you can get started without sign-off in most cases.

You might be wondering whether all of this is straightforward to arrange. It is.

We keep things simple from first call to last slab. No vague quotes, no surprises when the bill lands. We cover Stow on the Wold and the surrounding villages, and you can reach us on 01295 985016 for a chat about what you have in mind. See more of our work and get in touch at Stow on the Wold Patios.
