Materials and new roofs

When it comes to a new roof, the choice of material matters more than most people realise. For pitched roofs we work with concrete interlocking tiles, natural slate, and fibre cement slate. Flat roofs are a different matter, the system needs to suit the deck and the drainage fall.

How we work

I come out, look at the roof myself, and tell you straight what needs doing and what can wait. A GRP flat roof, for example, uses glass reinforced polyester resin laminated in situ, so understanding the chemistry behind the cure time matters on a cold Cheshire morning.
