Canvey Island Patios

Canvey Island, Essex. That’s where we’re based, and that’s mostly where we work, though we cover a fair stretch of the surrounding area too.

What do we actually do?

We lay patios. New ones, properly done, from the ground up. We work with a good range of materials depending on what suits the garden and the budget.

We also put up fencing and garden walling, lay artificial grass, and install roll-on turf where people want a proper lawn without the grief of growing one from scratch.

How do we work?

Every job starts with the ground. If the base isn’t right, nothing on top of it will last. We take drainage seriously, we get the levels right, and we don’t cut corners on the sub-base. That’s the bit you never see, but it’s the bit that matters.

A lot of gardens around here have awkward access. Terraced properties with no side gate, rear-access only through a narrow back entry, that kind of thing. We’re well used to it. Does it slow things down a bit? Yes. Does it stop us? Not a chance.

We’ve worked in all sorts of spots, from tight back gardens to more open plots. One job that sticks in my mind was a setup not unlike what you’d find off the Drimnagh Road in Crumlin, a long terrace, rear-access only, barely enough room to swing a cat. We got it done.
