How we actually work

Carefully is the honest answer. Before we price any job, we look at the existing structure properly. Older properties around BR5 and BR6 regularly throw up rising damp, and we deal with that directly, including injecting a chemical damp proof course where the original damp proof course has failed or was never there to begin with.

Materials and methods

We work in traditional sand and cement, modern beam and block flooring systems, and cavity wall construction. The membrane, the insulation, the lintel specification, these details get decided on site, not guessed at from an office, it makes a difference to how the finished building performs over time.

The kind of build we do best

Rear extensions in residential streets are probably our most regular work. However, we are equally comfortable on a full new build or a structural conversion where load-bearing walls need careful consideration and temporary propping before anything else happens.
