British weather does not forgive weak brickwork

Rain gets in. Frost pushes at foundations. Walls move when the ground shifts beneath them. We have seen it all across BR1 and BR2, and that is exactly why Bromley Builders builds the way we do. Solid, practical, done properly the first time.

What we do

We cover the full range of residential building work. Extensions are a big part of what we handle day to day, and there are more options than most people realise:

Beyond extensions, we carry out loft conversions, garage conversions, new builds, structural alterations, groundworks, foundations, brickwork, blockwork, plastering, rendering, and general building maintenance. We recently finished a new garage for a family over near Beckenham, block-built from the footings up, with a proper damp-proof course and a concrete slab that will not move.

Where we work

We are based in Bromley and cover the surrounding area comfortably. We work regularly around Crystal Palace, Chislehurst, and out towards the Green Chain Walk corridor. If you are in that patch, chances are we have worked on a house near yours.

How we work

No inflated quotes. No vague timelines. We turn up when we say we will (which sounds basic, but here we are). We use quality materials because cutting corners on a build always costs more later. The weather in this part of south-east London is genuinely unpredictable, so we plan our groundworks and external work around it properly.

I give straight answers to straight questions. That is it, really.
