The work itself

Residential insulation in Ireland covers more ground than most people realise. Here is the full picture of what is available and what we carry out:

• Attic and loft insulation

Pumped cavity wall insulation is one of the most common jobs I get called out for. We pump EPS beads directly into the cavity through small drilled holes, the wall is made good after, and you would never know we were there.

Materials and performance

We work with rigid PIR board, mineral wool, EPS bead, polyurethane spray foam, and breathable membranes depending on what the wall or roof construction calls for. A blower door test result of below 3 air changes per hour at 50 pascals is achievable in most retrofits we carry out, however that depends heavily on the existing build fabric.
