Rain exposes weak driveways fast. After a proper Merseyside winter, you see exactly where the surface has failed, where water’s pooling, where the base was never right in the first place. That’s where we come in.

We’re based in Bromborough, Cheshire, and we’ve been laying driveways and hard surfaces across the Wirral for years. Port Sunlight, Eastham, Bebington, we know the ground conditions round here well.

What we lay

Every job starts the same way for us: get the sub-base preparation and compaction right before a single block or tonne of tarmac goes down. Skip that, and the surface fails. Simple as.

We work with all the main surfacing materials:

• Block paving, concrete or clay, flexible and long-lasting when it’s bedded properly
• Resin bound surfacing, permeable and clean-looking (it also handles SuDS drainage requirements which a lot of councils now care about)
• Tarmac and asphalt, practical and solid underfoot
• Pattern imprinted concrete, for a more decorative finish that holds up well
• Gravel, low cost and decent drainage by nature

We also resurface tired driveways, repair potholes and cracking, seal existing surfaces, and sort out drainage and soakaways where water has nowhere sensible to go.

Patios and beyond

It’s not just driveways. We lay patios and pathways using the same materials, and we’ll kerb and edge everything properly so it sits right. Jobs often tie in with garden work too.

• Lawns, turf laid or seeded depending on what suits
• Fencing, timber and close-board mostly
• Garden walling, block or natural stone
