Carlow Insulation

Carlow Insulation

Is your home costing you more to heat than it should?

Chances are, the answer is yes. I’ve seen it time and again across County Carlow, from old terraced houses in Muinebheag to detached homes out near the Barrow Valley. Heat is walking straight out through the walls and roof.

What we cover

We handle both interior and exterior insulation work. Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • External wall insulation fitted to the outside of your property
  • Pumped cavity wall insulation, injected into the existing cavity
  • Internal dry lining and wall insulation
  • Attic, loft, and rafter insulation
  • Spray foam insulation, open and closed cell
  • Underfloor and floor insulation
  • Garage and outbuilding insulation
  • Pipe lagging and hot water tank insulation
  • Draught proofing and air sealing

A bit about how we work

Right, pumped cavity wall insulation is one of the jobs I get called out for most around here. It’s tidy work, no major disruption, and the difference people notice in their heating bills is gas, altogether. We also help customers through the SEAI grant process, which takes a fair bit of the cost out of it.

Damp and condensation

A lot of homes near Borris and out toward Hacketstown have older construction. Cold bridging and condensation come with that territory. We deal with it properly rather than papering over it.
