What We Do

At Clatterbridge Driveways, we install, repair, and resurface driveways and outdoor spaces across Cheshire, covering areas from Heswall through to Bebington and out towards Bromborough. Every job gets the same level of attention, whether it is a full new driveway or a cracked edge that needs sorting.

Driveway Surfaces We Work With

We handle a wide range of materials and surfaces, so customers can choose what suits their property and budget.

• Block paving, including permeable variants that meet SuDS requirements
• Resin bound gravel, laid to a minimum 18mm depth over a sound base
• Tarmac and asphalt, including hot-rolled asphalt for heavier use areas
• Pattern imprinted concrete
• Loose gravel with proper edging and sub-base preparation

One job that comes up regularly is levelling a drive that pools water after rain. Poor falls and inadequate drainage cause that, and we correct both the gradient and the sub-base rather than just resurfacing over the problem.

Patios, Paths, and Garden Hard Landscaping

We also work on patios and pathways using natural stone, porcelain, and concrete slabs. The sub-base specification we use, typically MOT Type 1 compacted to a minimum 100mm, is what separates a patio that lasts from one that shifts after the first winter. Edging, kerbing, and drainage channels are included where the layout calls for them.

Soft Landscaping and Boundaries

Beyond the hard surfaces, we carry out turf laying and lawn preparation, timber and composite fencing installation, and garden walling using brick, natural stone, or concrete block. It means customers can have one crew handle the whole outdoor space rather than managing several different trades.
