Who are we?

: Local builders, proper ones.

We’re based in Dunham on the Hill, Cheshire, and we’ve been putting up walls, laying foundations, and sorting out people’s homes across this corner of the county for years. You’ll find us working across Frodsham, Helsby, and out towards Ellesmere Port on any given week.

What do we actually do?

We cover the full range of building work, from the ground up to the roof line.

• Extensions and rear renovations
• New builds and structural alterations
• Loft conversions and garage conversions
• Brickwork, blockwork, plastering, and rendering
• Groundworks, foundations, and drainage
• General building maintenance and repairs

One job we get called out on fairly regularly is chimney breast removals inside the house. People want the space back, open up a room, knock through. It’s more involved than it looks, because you’re dealing with load-bearing masonry in a lot of cases. We know how to handle that properly.

How do we work?

Straight answer: we turn up, we do the job, we don’t leave a mess behind. Is that really so much to ask? We think it should be the standard, not the selling point, but here we are.

We work in blockwork, facing brick, concrete, timber frame where it’s called for. We’re not precious about materials. We use what the job needs, full stop.

However, the one thing we do insist on is a proper site visit before any price goes out. No ballpark figures over the phone. That’s how corners get cut, and that’s not the way we operate, not even a little bit.
