What we do

Solid work. That is where everything starts for us. At Frodsham Builders we cover the full range of building work, from the ground up to the roof line, across Frodsham and the surrounding area.

We have been working on homes and commercial properties near Frodsham Hill, out towards Helsby, and around the Weaver Valley for a good number of years. We know the ground conditions here, the soil types, and what the local planning environment tends to expect.

Extensions and structural work

If you want more space, an extension is usually the most sensible route. We handle everything from the initial groundworks right through to plastered walls and weathertight roofing. You deal with one team throughout, that keeps things straightforward.

Loft and garage conversions

Converting garages is something we do regularly. A lot of people in this area have an integral or attached garage that never gets used as a garage, it makes sense to put that square footage to work. Loft conversions follow a similar logic.

When we carry out a loft conversion, we calculate the existing floor joist capacity against the new imposed load requirements before any structural work begins. It is a step a lot of people skip, we do not.

Brickwork and groundworks

We work in facing brick, engineering brick, and dense aggregate block depending on what the job calls for. Foundations are dug to the depth the ground actually requires, not just to a standard spec, the conditions around Delamere and across WA6 vary more than you might expect.
