A bit about how we work

A customer once said our finished patio looked like it had always been there.

That stuck with me, because that is exactly what we are aiming for every time. We are based right here in Great Wakering, and most of our work stays close to home, across the SS3 postcode and the surrounding villages.

What we do

We have been laying patios long enough to know that the groundwork matters more than most people realise. Get the base wrong and even the most expensive porcelain tile will shift and rock within a season or two.

The finer details

One thing I genuinely enjoy speccing in (and I know that sounds like odd enthusiasm for a patio man) is low-voltage lighting integrated into steps. It finishes a project properly and makes the space usable on an autumn evening.

We think about drainage, kerb lines, and how the finished surface will actually sit with the rest of your garden. Those details are what separate a job that looks good in a photograph from one that still looks good in five years.

Materials and honesty

Not every customer needs the same thing. A family garden in Shoeburyness needs to handle bikes and football. A courtyard near St Nicholas Church in Great Wakering needs something a bit more considered. We talk through the materials honestly before anything is quoted.
