We’ve been working on rooflines across Lucan and the surrounding parts of County Dublin for years. The problems we see are nearly always the same: blocked runs, sagging brackets, cracked joints, fascia boards that have been painted over so many times the rot underneath has gone unnoticed.

• Cast iron gutters, including restoration of original profiles
• Aluminium seamless gutters, formed continuous cast-on-site rainwater channels that have no joints to leak along the run
• uPVC fascia and soffit boards
• Leaf guards and gutter mesh
• Hopper heads, rainwater outlets and connection to existing soakaways
• Water butt and diverter installation

For materials and stock we draw on local suppliers, including Chadwicks, so lead times on standard profiles are rarely an issue.

Signs your gutters need replacing, not just clearing

It’s worth knowing when a clean-out won’t cut it anymore.

• Visible sagging or pulling away from the fascia
• Cracks or splits along the gutter run itself
• Fascia boards soft to the touch behind the bracket
• Persistent damp patches on the wall below the gutter line
• Rust staining on cast iron that keeps returning after treatment

Fascia, soffit and roofline work

We handle full fascia and soffit replacement alongside guttering, it makes sense to do both together. A new gutter fixed to a rotten fascia board won’t last. We also carry out dry verge installations on rooflines, which tighten up the verge against wind lift and stop birds getting in under the tiles.

The work is straightforward when it’s done right, however cutting corners on bracket spacing or fall angle stores up problems quickly. We set the fall correctly from the start.
