The work itself

Preparation is where most jobs are won or lost. Sub-base depth, fall direction, drainage away from the house. And relaying sunken slabs is probably the most common call we get. Frost gets under a poorly bedded slab, and before long you’ve got a trip hazard. We lift it, sort the base, and bed it back properly.

Porcelain needs a different approach to sandstone. Limestone wants careful sealing in the Irish climate. We’ve worked with all of it long enough to know where the shortcuts come back to bite you.
