uPVC is the material we fit most often, though we also restore cast iron where it is still worth saving and install aluminium seamless systems for customers who want a cleaner finish with fewer joints.

Installations and repairs

When we go out to a new install, we set the bracket spacing to give the correct fall across the run. A fall of typically 1:600 toward the outlet is the standard we work to, and getting that wrong is the most common reason gutters hold water and overflow.

Repairs are just as much a part of what we do. Re-aligning a sagging run, swapping out a split joint, replacing a hopper head that has taken a knock, fitting leaf guards so the system stays clear after we leave.

Roofline and fascia work

Gutters alone. That works fine on some jobs. On others, the fascia boards behind them are soft or the soffits are pulling away, and there is no point fitting new guttering to a rotting board. We replace uPVC fascia and soffit, and we do the roofline trim full perimeter wrap where the job calls for it, so the finished result is neat all the way round.

Why the drainage detail matters

North Dublin has its own quirks. Rainwater that is not carried away properly does not just drip, it backs up, and in older catchments that feed into systems connected to the Tolka, a blockage has knock-on effects further down the line. We make sure the connection to your soakaway or gully is clear and flowing before we sign off.
