Back in Dublin I learned early that rain sets falls wrong if you cut corners on the base. Irish rainfall teaches you that fast. We carry that same thinking into every job we take on in Essex.

We are based in Takeley and we cover the surrounding area. Patios, paths, walling, fencing, lawns. We do the lot, done properly.

Clients ask me all the time what patio surfaces are available. Here is the honest rundown:

Beyond the patio itself

A patio on its own rarely finishes a garden properly. We also put up timber fencing, erect garden walling (anything from sleeper walls to brick), and lay both roll-on turf and artificial grass. The artificial grass side has grown a lot. It stays green even through an Essex winter, which is a modest claim but a true one.

I played a bit of football back home, followed Ballyboden St Enda’s for years. Ground conditions matter. Same principle applies to a lawn or a laid patio. The preparation underneath is the whole job.

How we work

We price fairly and we show up when we say we will. That is it, really. Drainage falls are set correctly on every single surface we lay. No short cuts on the sub-base. It does not need to be complicated.
