The Detail Matters

We see a lot of attics where someone fitted 100mm of mineral wool years back and left it at that. A proper attic insulation top-up to current Irish Building Regulations depth, typically 300mm of blown or laid mineral wool, makes a measurable difference to heat retention and your energy bill.

Worth it.

Most homes in this part of the midlands are losing heat through multiple routes at once, and the honest answer is that an airtightness test result below 3 air changes per hour at 50 pascals is the actual benchmark we are aiming for when we complete an air sealing job.

SEAI Grants and BER

We help our customers navigate SEAI grant funding. However, the paperwork side is only part of it. What actually moves your BER rating is the quality of the install, the materials selected, and how well junctions and edges are sealed. We do not cut corners on any of those.
